		<description>Good egg, Camilla!  The thickness of the shell is due to the fact that this was her first egg.  And that she isn&#039;t producing heavily yet.  When she is laying heavily and as she ages, the shell will thin out.  The color of the yolk is caused by the diet she is eating.  A colorless diet will produce colorless eggs.   What I would love to see is a breakdown of protein, cholesterol, Vit D, etc. between your eggs and store-bought eggs.  That would be really interesting.  Your eggs are most definitely the best!  How many are you getting now?
