After two weekends of chiseling away at hard ground and running chicken wire, there is only one thing to say about Chickmo, and only one man with the swagger to say it.
That’s right! Late Sunday evening the girls moved into their new outdoor home. From all accounts, they love the place. They’re still working a lot of stuff out. For starters, the henhouse is for sleeping inside of, not on top of:
They do seem much happier outdoors — lots of room to stretch their wings, run around, and generally “play chicken.” If all goes well, in about two months or so, we will start seeing some eggs!
